Obtaining Adept Weapon Variants Efficiently

You can get all of the Spy of the Watcher adept weapon variants completely solo and within 4 minutes per drop, too. Note that this is on automated mode as you do need to be on this for adept drops in the first place. You could lower the difficulty and complete the same method though if you choose. The setup I use in this video, including artifact mods, are quite critical to making this a smooth experience. Of course, I'll link these in the description, but I'll also give a run through as I progress through the encounter as to what you want to do and when. So, as soon as this encounter starts, your first thing you must do is get rid of these four cyclops. These will just one-shot you out of nowhere. But thankfully, you can one-shot them back with icebreaker. Also, if you're behind the barricade, which I put down here as well, you take heavily reduced splash damage. They can just stand in one spot and destroy all of them. Starting the paths. There's no real order you need to do this. And if you've done spy before, you kind of know this starting area, but I will recommend doing this path first because it's definitely the most difficult of all of them. And if you do have any problems, it's not really a big setback. Again, these cyclops will spawn throughout the encounter, but this is in a set order. So, if you do choose to do the same order of paths I did, you can take out the Cyclops in exactly the same locations I do, and you will have no problems with them. These are the things which will cause any problems, though, if you just choose not to take them out at any point. So, first two paths are done. Moving over to the other side. This is where you'll have more Cyclops spawn. I choose to take him out here as this is quite a safe spot to do. So that one's gone. This one will spawn in straight afterwards. Take out this as well. And now you're good to finish off the remaining two paths. As for my loadouts, the machine gun's not too important. I just chose to use this one for convenience, but the two snipers are quite important. Icebreaker is just for the Cyclops mainly. You don't have this. I think a high impact sniper will suffice. Praiffs is for the boss damage coming up. The boss is just a big hydra. So having a sniper is mainly for the anti- barrier options, meaning you can just shoot with a shield, stay in one spot, makes it a lot more convenient. You'll probably have better damage with a sniper than something like a Queen's Breaker here, just because of that shield piercing effect. As you complete all four paths, Cyclops will all respawn at the same time. So, the first thing to do here is back to the roof and take them out straight away. Again, exactly the same method. Can see you completely tank the shot because you're behind a rally barricade. If he wasn't behind a barricade there, you are instantly dead. Once the four cyclops are destroyed, they won't respawn anymore. So, now it's onto the boss. I will say just copy basically exactly what I do here. Start with a tea crash, then onto this roof instead. And the barricade effect does apply here, too. The boss is using only splash damage, so you will take basically no damage. And the bolt charge artifact mods will heal you more than enough. It's just a simple weapon rotation. I'm using the machine gun and ice breaker so that I have bait and switch available for praiseps is boosted by its artifact trait cuz I started with a super and it is just simply shooting behind the barricade. This roll I used was fourth times a charm and bait and switch. And if you can craft it, this is probably what I would use. Otherwise, you might have ammo economy issues. But there is no hard time. If you can just sit and plink if it takes longer, then so be it. Every run will give you an adept weapon with the chance of it also being a shiny variant, which will give two perk options in each column. Thank you for watching.
