ghost of the Deep is a dungeon that I have very mixed feelings about the aesthetic is awesome the armor is badass the weapons are well they exist but replaying the dungeon often leaves a lot to be desired the traversal sections are just too slow the bosses have a lot of health and the moths i tried to solo this dungeon when it first came out and got really close but just fell short so in keeping with my Right of the Nine Pokemon theme I'm going to attempt this solo once more as Greninja i'll do my best to replicate his moves and play style handicapping myself for your entertainment appreciate it now let's dive back into the dungeon now I'm a Titan main with a good bit of experience on Warlock and far less experience on Hunter so I'm pretty out of my element here i also didn't really know what I wanted my Hunter to look like the live chat introduced me to Mask of Fieldy which sounded like a perfect fit for Greninja thankfully I was already max rank with Rahul so all I needed to do was find an exotic engram to focus which meant three games of Gambit now I can finally put together the look and move set for Greninja for my subclass I'm going with Prismatic the live chat and I felt that this best simulated Greninja's hidden ability Protein with transcendence being his stellar terrailization we'll be using strand grapple because Greninja can use his tongue to grapple onto things my super and melee ability will of course be water shuriken think of the super as a Z move i don't know my strand aspect gives me double team which will be very useful for my weapons first we have a scepter which is ice beam i then have this auto rifle for uh water gun and the temptations hook for both swords dance and another water shuriken honestly I think this build is really clever and you can thank my live chat for that although we will be changing some moves as we go through let's do this guys can Greninja solo Ghost of the Deep take your bets i got a little lost at first but eventually made first contact with the enemy oh god oh a hypernova Bane dude we're doing this again okay one of the few changes Bungie made to this dungeon is the addition of bangs which I think is really cool but they're going to be really annoying later i familiarized myself with my move set which actually turned out to be a ton of fun something about this combination of weapons and abilities really just kicks ass oh my god dude prismatic is going to go so hard though holy holy oh you're a meteor's vein oh my lord oh my lord oh god damn it what after this I got a little too excited and hopped on the Griffin however I forgot that you're actually much easier to kill while riding this thing and paid dearly oh my god never mind the Griffin's bad the Griffin's really bad i love this thing but not here i then realized that I only have six raid banners which might get me to the first boss if I'm lucky so I went and bought like 60 more i then accidentally loaded into explorer mode so I had to back out and reload once again to officially start the run uh oh uh forgot about you like I don't expect this to be easy by any by any stretch of the imagination but I just I hope we're able to beat it man i I really really do the final Oh oh my god the bubbles are so cool the bubbles are so cool a ton a ton of phases oh wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa wa double team after two more rotations the first encounter was done the only change from the original is that it was one run shorter well yeah it turns out the only changes made to Ghost of the Deep in Wright of the Nine actually make the dungeon just a little easier in addition to the change to the opening encounter the boss's shields also have less health and they've made some tweaks to their behavior don't get me wrong this dungeon is still hard as and the traversal sections are still agonizingly slow with a new mini boss at the end the changes really serve to make room for some new and sometimes even more annoying modifiers and banees something on full display in the fight with [Applause] Ethar oh I did not mean to start that okay well we're just going in i guess we're just starting this up i need to do light damage so I can get prismatic i fell underwater okay if I remember correctly we have to kill the three knights and then we will get three symbols and then we go down and we imbue those three symbols and then we come back up and that will start damage is that how this works okay we have like person table with legs circle and star this is one we need this is star hello circle is right here this one this one right here okay the room successfully align with a crackle we got it oh what the i forgot there's hive guardians here all right let's just get to cracking let's crack the ghost i began looking around for any changes I could make to my stats or move set i ended up changing some fragments and trying again oh my god the moth dude the Oh my god what the Why you not playing Titan for spikes and swapped one of my water shuriken sources for hydro pump hopefully with these modifications we can make a bit more of a splash winterbite is your friend i got 2 million damage with it we get more annoying later after two more deaths I took a bathroom break and then proceeded to wipe again it was here when a couple of our live viewers highly recommended that I swap off Mask of Field Tea for Liar's handshake and learn the move Shadow Sneak i'll be forgetting Double Team for now in favor of the Stasis synergy that comes with Shadow Sneak this is a years old meta that I've always been afraid to try why you might ask well the one time I did try it was in my Witch Queen Nuzlocke and it caused me to lose one of my favorite weapons of the run so I was hesitant but I gave it a shot regardless and boy was it worth it oh oh oh my lord that's kind of cool that's kind of cool dude for the uninitiated this liars handshake setup allows me to get my dodge back on powered melee kills but I can also get my melee back when I dodge near enemies my powered melee will do a ton more damage and also heal me on top of this my dodge will slow enemies which can also freeze them which will then make me invisible because of stylus executioner this setup is nutty and I totally see why people recommended it we kept joking that it was the most Titan hunter build there is and I was having a ton of fun i know it's like I'm late to this cuz I'm not a hunter but like oh my god this is cool this is really cool even still I'm not invincible okay okay i got I got counterfeited i don't care that was awesome using this method I was easily able to reach a damage phase however my damage was still pretty mid i haven't yet perfected the rotation let me heal right quick my lord that is so microcosm is just going to be better i've also relearned double team survivability here is rough and I'm going to need all the help and distractions I can get let's do it let's just do this oh whoa
