Destiny 2 Weekly Update

what's up guys houndish here and today we're jumping back into Destiny 2 for the weekly reset and it's the 10th of June so we're now about a month away from Edge of Fate bungie have said we'll continue to get news on that front for the moment though we do have a game update for Destiny 2 this week few fixes in there so we'll break down all of the changes worth knowing about as well as boosted Ride of the Nine loop for the week a couple of additional updates from Bungie and then we do have featured rewards vendor inventories we'll take a look at Eververse featured activities and a bunch of other things in the video so if you guys want to stay up to date with more Destiny content get subscribed and hit the notification bell down below but otherwise let's get into it it is first worth mentioning for Right of the Nine basically Prophecy continues this week so we get the second featured week for the dungeon that does come with a new weapon quest according to Bungie and we should see boosted weapon and currency drops active this week as well so if you're still engaging with Rider the N stuff be sure to visit the emissary first attune for your weapons and as always let us know down below if you'll be diving back in this reset next up though we have the patch notes for the update today which is patch 8264 so we'll focus on all the changes here for ride of the nine they say the emissary should no longer randomly duplicate in the nine realm hadn't actually encountered that one an interesting one nonetheless they also fixed an issue in the realm where the lift to get to the Ghost of the Deep chest would not activate if you didn't complete Spy of the Watcher in the prior week and all lifts will be active for the remainder of the event so that's useful they also removed the navigator's catalyst steps in explorer mode of Ghost of the Deep since the catalyst will not drop after completing the steps so that's a good bit of clarification otherwise for UI and UX they fixed an issue where the Ride of the Nine Astrograph shader was not appearing uh on item appearance pages otherwise a new Bungie name change token is now available for all players they say "What have we done please try to behave yourselves if you've been looking to change your name that will now finally be an option so that's nice." And for gameplay and investment and armor they fixed an issue where the Hunter's Omnioculus mask ornament uh was not displaying its special effect when wearing the exotic chest piece um with the mechano pupil ornament equipped otherwise for Triumphs uh progress has been added to the Seeker of the Nine triumph for Spire and Ghosts of the Deep because Bungie accidentally uh deleted it last week they also fixed an issue where progress wasn't being added to the Pale Heart seasonal challenge after Overthrow completions and finally they fixed a problem where progress towards completing the Whisper in the Moments of Triumph 2024 title wasn't counted if players had deleted the quest to complete it from ADA once so there we go those are the patch notes for today and share any thoughts you have in the comments section and next up as we move over to the game following the patch notes we do have the new quest available in Ride of the Nine we've got a pop-up for that in terms of other boosts nothing appears to be indicated directly right here at sign in we do however get a bunch of new loot in the Eververse store so as always uh for the minute up until when I nearly said the final shape up until Edge of Fate uh we can claim our weekly free Bride Dust so be sure to do that if you want to stack up on some Bright Dust that's always nice otherwise we will focus on Bright Dust items in the store featured this week so on the front page we have the claw machine exotic emote available for 3,250 Bright Dust right there as always I'm trying to preview these things as we fly into the tower taking a while but we got there eventually that's a pretty cool uh new one from this episode otherwise there is Partition Recoil the exotic ship right here i think it might have come up uh at some other point for bright dust but that's a new one this season once again that one's 2,000 bright dust and then we have the confetti entrance transman effect these are all 450 bright dust and for front page shaders uh there's a name there i'm not even going to try and say it but if you want a shader that you can't say in the name of and it looks like someone threw paint at you in the street then that's an option this week for 300 bride dust already purchased an account apparently don't remember that otherwise there is irradiant charoid which of course we frequently see in the Eververse store but moving over to the main bright dust section right here we have the gong show i nearly said going slow then that's exactly how I feel today uh exotic emote here for 3,250 bright dust we'll have a quick preview of that gong very nice there's also the persevering dance legendary emote which is up for 700 bright dust this week and then getting things moving we have the photovalttaic shell exotic ghost available for 2850 bright dust if you want some satellite action going on right there there's also the shining cabriolet exotic ship which is up for 2,000 bright dust as well a few slightly older bride dust items featured right here then we've got the vice cruiser from back in season of defiance for 2500 bride dust very interesting indeed and for ornaments we have the serret oath ornament for Ariana's vow which is a new one this episode so uh probably one of the nicer things available this week it is a pretty cool ornament so nice to see it available for bride dust and that is 1,250 bright dust otherwise there is the splinter projection up for 1,500 bright dust and for the second page of shaders we initially have war brick which can be quite a nice one with certain sets as always these are still 300 bright dust there's also Atlantic Rush my armor set does make some of this stuff rather garish otherwise Jungle Viper is available this week as well and finally we have the Aposmatism um shader which once again can be quite nice if you're into that color scheme so give us your thoughts otherwise Cabala rival transmat effect is up we'll have a quick preview of these why not that's 450 bright dust of course a classic there's also Minotaur effects available this week and finally we have the stasis entrance available as well so there we go that is the Eververse store and let us know in the comment section if you'll be grabbing anything for me it's definitely going to be Ariana's vow uh ornament this week and about a bazillion of us just landed in the tower after a delayed flight um so we'll go and take a quick look at Banshee's inventory of weapons for the moment why not it'd be rude not to since we're here we've got the Nox Perennial with Fragile Focus Wellspring there's also Nezarx Whisper which is impulse amplifier and vorpal weapon and then the threaded needle killing wind multi-kill clip seventh serif saw which has got grave robber and vorpal weapon as well as bad omens with autoloading and genesis and finally path of least resistance with dynamic sway reduction and gutshot straight sorry if you can hear banging in the background i think my kids are just smashing the house up you know as you do and we'll give our final vendor a quick visit down here before she gets some upgrades for Edge of Fate by the looks of things for the moment though uh with the armor we've got the Carrick Type 2 set of gear so if you're interested in adding older stuff to collections you can always check in for shaders this week though we have genotype null zero from back in the Warmind era quite a nice one these are all 10,000 glimmer there's also flowers of Io available right here and very finally new Monarchy Diamonds if you're after some older faction shaders a few other mentions in terms of loot this week Shadow Price Adept is the featured Nightfall drop from inside Terminus and as Bungie outlined last week adept weapons are being replaced with tiered weapons as we move forward so the existing adepts will essentially be removed from rotations and that means if you do want to add this to collections it's the final week to do so obviously folks have mixed thoughts on that given that weapons will be upgraded in Edge of Fate so a lot of the stuff we have now will eventually be outclassed but nonetheless it's there if you want it otherwise Wishkeeper will be dropping from Starrust as the featured exotic mission this week so again if you need that or any of its upgrades it's a good time to run it and then we have Deep Stone Crypt which can drop the Eyes of Tomorrow as well as its legendary loot pool and Rude of Nightmares which can drop the conditional finality and both of those are totally farmable this week so no loot lockouts are active giving us endless chances at any of the drops our very last mention as always will be for the Lost Sectors so for today June 10th we've got the Broken Deep then on the 11th we'll move over to Blooming Deep before heading to Europa with Bunkery 15 on June 12th pedition featured for the 13th then it will be Val's Labyrinth in the Cosmo Drrome for the 14th followed by Exodus Garden 2A on the 15th and finally Aelion's Rest in the Dreaming City will be featured on June 16th so if you want to know that rotation for Exotic Engram chances on solo clears or
