Destiny 2 Prophecy Dungeon Farming Guide

what is up guys it's your boy how the heck are those light modes i'm standing in the dark cactus And today with the new weekly reset hitting Destiny 2 the Prophecy Dungeon is entering its second week of rotation within the right of the nine event which means it has massively boosted loot This week you have the chance to get adept weapon drops from just killing enemies You also have a hugely boosted chance to get holo foils and also you will get nonory manifold material drops from enemies as well So in this video we're going to be showcasing an incredibly efficient adept weapon farm within the prophecy dungeon so you can rake in those juicy rewards And so let's get started Now in terms of what this farm is we're simply doing the first encounter because there's a bunch of tips you can utilize to make it go faster And if you use the right loadouts which we're going to go over you can get an easy onephase kill on this boss making it incredibly efficient especially because uh other farms for example last week's Ghost of the Deep farm very efficient and easy farm for adept weapons but it was the traversal section and there's a lot of traversal section farms going on here but uh they can't actually give you an adept weapon with double perks because you need a gold rating and the traversal sections don't have like any rating system but in this farm in the first encounter you can absolutely earn gold So that does mean you can get those juicy double perk adept weapons Really really good for farming So let's talk about some tips to speed up the light and dark moat section to get to the DPS section faster In eons past when this dungeon first came out what you could do is once you get for example uh a light buff with all the light modes you could go and hover above like kind of in the middle of both of the platforms you needed to activate and activate it high in the air and it would get both of them at the same time There's a new mechanic this time around with right of the nine where you have to activate a specific one first So you can't go for the double activation right off the bat But that doesn't mean you can't go for a double activation at all If the first one you have to get where the tolland is floating is uh light for example you can just do that one as a single and then you can double activate dark and then you just need to get uh one more light to finish it So that just means you have technically one fewer activation So again you can still go for the double activation just not on the very first one guys Additionally there's a lot of ads and a lot of knights and especially on ultimatum difficulty they're going to hit very hard Uh but if you're using for example a consecration titan which I would highly recommend for this it makes it so much easier You can just go around and absolutely uh ignite the crap out of all these knights all these ads and get the healing from knockout Uh use it before you lose one of the fragment slots in the edge of fate So that's just a really good uh build for going through that beginning section very easily Also any sort of weaponry that has a heal clip is going to be so good For example the Aberate action I ended up using just for ad clearing Uh kills the knights pretty fast and again that heal clip is so darn useful for I mean obviously keeping you alive Now moving on to the damage phase Let's talk about getting those juicy onephase kills There's a couple of things you're going to need regardless of which weapons you're using First of all you need a weaken effect So we had a hunter with tether and then their smoke was a backup weaken effect Now you could use something like the tractor cannon but that will potentially take away uh from what that person can use for actual DPS Now on top of that you're going to need some sort of buff a a radiant effect And so we did have a warlock just with a well right there are going to be ads uh additionally spawning during this damage phase as you can see in the background gameplay So standing in the well not only to get that increase of damage but also to get that survivability is going to matter Like if you don't have it it can be a little tricky You will be shot in the back by these additional ads Now in terms of what you should actually use for DPS so first off we have swords We got a lot of one phases with swords Now specifically the role I was using was the Fallen Guillotine mega damage roll of whirlwind blade plus vorpa weapon So just damage on damage Now you do not need this role There is a lot of really good high DPS sword god rolls out there Just remember to use as many weapon surges as you can that match the element of your main DPS weapon obviously Uh but again swords were fantastic As long as we were in the well and also especially with that tether you're actually able to hit some damage through the shield Now once the tether kind of goes away and stuff you might need to move around the boss but still it it was capable of getting pretty easy one-phase kills Everyone's able to you know put a sword on and then you can have your special weapon and your primary weapon for ad clearing especially really good uh special weapons For example I really liked using the choir of one for the rest of the encounter Just absolutely melts the ads melts the knights and helps me do that first encounter faster and it doesn't interfere with my legendary sword at all Now if you are using swords however a big tip is to be careful about spamming heavy attacks especially if you have the double DPS perk uh role I have where if you spam heavy attacks all the time you're going to run out of sword ammo the damage phase is actually really long and so you want to be light attacking for the vast majority of it Now if you do have relentless strikes you can get away with a few more heavy attacks Uh but even still you might just want to light attack the entire time so you have sword ammo through that long damage phase Now the other weapon we had massive success with was actually going to be the Legend of Acrius Guys this thing absolutely cranks In fact I think it does better damage more consistent damage than swords with one caveat being that you might run out of ammo In fact in the background gameplay you're going to see we absolutely did run out of ammo Now unfortunately we only had two people using Legend of Aras The other guy has apparently been getting real lazy with his spoilers of conquest But regardless like trust me guys did a lot of all swords uh DPS phases and legend was chunking off the rip like way faster Like we get the boss down faster compared to swords and then we'd kind of run out of ammo and it would be a little bit of a problem but it was only a problem at the very end And again with all three people using Legend of Acrius you might just be able to kill the boss without uh needing to switch to something else but having like a little bit of a backup DPS super So again if you are on a Titan glacial quake something like that uh just to use or a special weapon that can do uh a little bit of DPS in case you do run out of ammo with the legend of Acrius that's a good idea But you're going to get the boss so unbelievably low with the legend that it almost doesn't matter what you use to finish him off Now there is a trick There is an absolute trick to using the legend of acrius and that is if you have the catalyst it has trench barrel and you absolutely want this in terms of DPS It does way way way more damage But remember you get one melee and then you get three shots of trench barrel So you need to shoot those three shots melee again to reapply trench barrel shoot the next three shots At that point you're out of ammo Then get the melee And at this point you go reload shoot reload shoot reload shoot get the melee and do the reload shoot three more times So it's like every three shots you reapply that trench barrel Just make sure you're doing that But regardless of what weapons you're using to DPS what can really derail your one phase is the random Vex enemies that will put an immune shield over the boss So again something like the choir of one something that you can really quickly swap to nuke that Vex and then go back to DPS that's going to be the play And like maybe have someone designated to that role Like whenever the boss becomes immune you have someone that like stops using their DPS weapon goes and kills that a Vex as quickly as possible so you can get back to it right usually that can happen a couple times and if you kill the Vex pretty quickly you can still get the one phase pretty easily But like you know if it's a situation where like there's a Vex that's shielded by another Vex who's shielding the boss and stuff like that then it can get a little tricky and that can definitely derail some DPS phases But overall once you can get that one phase down it becomes again an incredibly
