Understanding Destiny 2 as Intended by Bungie

Today we are going to be playing Destiny 2 the way that Bungie intended it. So if you go over to the Bungie website, I didn't actually know that they have this. When you scroll all the way down, they have a help section.

They have a tab called Guides. And when you click on it, Destiny 2, new and returning player guide, March 3rd, 2023. Never knew that they made this. Here's what you can play when looking to hop in Destiny 2 for free. Playlist activities, Crucible, Gambit, and Vanguard Ops.

Deers of Eternity, The Prophecy Dungeon, Raids, King's Fall, Vault of Glass, patrols and public events, and destination activities. Where should I start when playing Destiny 2? Here's what's important.

The journey begins with an introductory mini campaign that lasts about two hours on the Cosmodrome with a new light mission called the Guardian Rises. So do we have to take two hours to finish this? We are only allowed to play the way Bungie intended it today.

There will be no unintentional gaming. No double specials. No infinite heavy glitch.

Press mouse 2 to reach your sparrows max velocity. Whoa! Armor. To equip a new piece of armor. All right, we know how to equip armor now.

Equipping armor with higher defense stat will help increase your power. Defense stat? G, use your finisher. Wait, the default for finisher is G?

Yes, yes, yes, yes the final shape of course I don't really know what they're intending other than to throw 50 Advertisements in my face if you're a new player, and you have no idea what's going on You get through one beginner quest line and then they throw like four things at you at once. Oh, this is recommended for new players. I don't get another choice then. Surely let's not pick the obviously two better options Let's recommend Arc Titan.

I finished the quest that it told me to. Now I have 10 other quests in my inventory already. A new lightful destination, Neomuna on Neptune.

Where-Oh. Wait, that's-that's-I didn't even- even know this is what that was called. So it doesn't directly say like what to do next after it tells you to do the new light quest. And so it teaches you about the different, different tiers of gear.

What you need to know about stats, mobility, ideal for hunters, resilience, ideal for Titans, offers increased damage reduction. What is build crafting and the best way to build in Death Sea 2? Mods are a vital component to build crafting. For example, some instances will contain a specific enemy called champions and to efficiently defeat them, guardians will need to specify their damage output.

This is done through mod components that can be slotted into additional pieces for some additional perks. How to get mods? Guardian rank progression, seasonal artifact progression. For example, if you unlock the anti-barrier pulse rif-puh-pull-pusley?

Anti-barrier pusley rop mod, it will apply to all pulse rifles automatically. It teaches you how to stun champions with your abilities. This should low-key be the very first mission that they like load you into. It's like kind of forcing you to learn your abilities right away. Acquire all light subclasses to unlock.

How do I unlock the light subclasses? I need solar and void kills. This is just overly complicated for a new player.

Complete a light subclass quest for my core and then you go to my core and it's like yeah You can't do this until you unlock all the subclasses. It's like okay. I will not be changing it. Nice try though You know what else is absolutely shameless. They recommend the arc subclass And you know what happens when you choose the ARK subclass? You get Risk Runner.

But you already get Risk Runner if you just start the game. So instead of giving you a different exotic, they basically make you waste an exotic. So instead of me getting like sunshot or grav lance, yeah give me the gun I was about to get anyways within like 10 minutes of work. To make progress equip abilities, aspects, fragments, or gear with the jolt keyword.

For example the spark of shock fragment adds a jolt effect to your art grenades. Surely that's one that they already gave me right? Fine I'll buy it.
