Lecture Notes: Seraph Complex and Vex Infiltration

Introduction

  • A Seraph complex recently powered on after being inactive since the collapse.

  • Reports of Vex incursions followed the activation of the complex.

  • Ana identified the location as a potential pillory bunker.

Significance of the Seraph Complex

  • If Vex access the systems, they could obtain Rasputin's submine data.

  • Loss of this data would be catastrophic.

Current Situation

  • The team has landed at the complex's arc supply source.

  • Complex is destabilized due to centuries of rust and arc surges.

  • Vex are breaching the command matrix.

Vex and the Complex

  • Sea-soul divisive Vex are present outside the Black Garden.

  • Known for being a fanatical sect devoted to the darkness or the witness.

Historical Context

  • The Ishtar Collective's involvement in a Seraph complex is surprising.

  • Both were rivals during the Golden Age.

Purpose of the Complex

  • Initially a joint research facility focused on extrasolar colonization.

  • Vex are searching research logs for more than just Rasputin's sub-minds.

Current Threats

  • The Vex mine is utilizing the tower's arrays for broader connections.

  • Aims to imprison the sub-mines.

  • Breaking this connection is crucial to end the threat.

Recent Developments

  • The Vex are driving the reactor core towards a meltdown.

  • Intentional power surges detected.

  • Immediate action required to secure the reactor and prevent catastrophe.

Importance of Securing the Complex

  • Proving the visions are true could secure Ikora's belief.

  • Important for personal validation as well as mission success.

Strategic Implications

  • The witness's attack is multi-front: sabotage, knowledge acquisition, and elimination of advantages.

  • Successfully stabilizing the complex is crucial to counter the witness's maneuvers.

Destiny 2 Episode Revenant - Solo Flawless Master Spire of the Watcher Dungeon on a Warlock / Solo Flawless Master Spire of the Watcher Dungeon in Episode Revenant / Spire of the Watcher Guide Episode Revenant. Just a video showing a Solo Flawless of the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon being cleared on master difficulty using a Warlock. Details below.

I was originally holding off on doing any more dungeon runs or the new dungeon on master until I replaced my CPU, as it's regularly crashing in longer recordings and very inconsistent overall. But as I'm still waiting on those parts to arrive and there's nothing else to do in the game at moment, I figured this dungeon was short enough and at least worth doing for the time being. It's probably the easiest of all the master dungeons, particularly so now that you're able to get an infinite damage phase on the harpy boss. There's a lot of speculation about it being due to the Kinetic Impacts artifact mod or DoT on the boss, and maybe they play a factor to it, but that didn't work for me. However, when I defeated the Minotaur from range to start the boss, and then combined with Kinetic Impacts/DoT it made for a consistent infinite damage phase each time. Other than that, the rest of the dungeon is a bit of a breeze. The start is about the only difficult part, mostly due to the Cyclops surrounding the room. A pretty sloppy clear as it's been a while since I've done this, and I got a bit careless on the final boss. There's also much better damage setups and optimal rotations for the final boss, but I was lazy and just kept on simple loadouts I already had on. It gets a comfortable 4 phase this way anyway, which isn't too horrible for master. Anyway, once my new CPU arrives and I replace my broken one, I'll go and get Master Vesper's Host done. After that I'll see how I feel about doing the other dungeons and whether or not I want to do them again.

Threats from the Seraph Complex

An old acquaintance among the hidden tells me that a Seraph complex recently powered on for the first time since the collapse. Shortly thereafter, Vex incursions were reported. Ana flagged the site as a potential pillory bunker.

If the Vex gain access to its systems, they'll use it to wrest Rasputin's submine data away from us. It would be catastrophic. We've landed at the source of the complex's arc supply. Centuries in Martian rust have done this place no kindness.

Our window of opportunity is short. Arc surges destabilize the complex, and Vex are breaching the command matrix. Go.

The usual sea-soul divisive vex outside the Black Garden. They're a fanatical sect of programming devoted to the darkness, or rather the witness. The Ishtar Collective in a seraph complex.

Peculiar. They were rivals in the Golden Age. This wasn't just a pillory site, it was a joint research facility, focused on extrasolar colonization efforts.

Sol divisive have been scouring research logs. They were looking for something more. More than to imprison Rasputin's sub-minds. Thank you. Information stored here, but could it be linked to my visions?

Why else would the witness be interested in these files? AVEX Mine remains in this terminal like an open door. It's using the tower's arrays to connect with installations across Seoul. This must be in preparation to imprison the sub-mines. Breaking their connection could end this threat.

Your foe breaks, and so does their hold over the security systems. Perhaps now we can... No!

They're driving the reactor core to a meltdown! It's going prompt critical! Those power surges were intentional! Get to the reactor, lest we lose everything!

Guardian, what we've seen here proves my visions have merit. We must secure the complex to convince Ikora. Trust me.

The frail thing. As much as our mission, if this can restore her faith in me... I need this. The next mine directs power to the reactor. Kill it, and the complex should stabilize.

This was a clever incision by the witness. A multi-front attack. Sabotage us, glean knowledge, and annihilate any trace of advantage.
