Exploring Tenasha's Mastery Sidearm
What's up guys, today we're going over the new Iron Banner Rocket Assisted Frame Sidearm, the Tenasha's Mastery, and this thing is an absolute beast, must have. In this video we're going over all its perks, what role you need, mags, everything about this weapon. So starting off and going backwards, starting with the right column perk.
First with Chill Clip, the most obvious perk that everyone wants on this thing. This, just like the Rapid Frame Fusions, only applies 40 slow stacks, which means it takes 3 shots to freeze a target, not surprising. given how much ammo these things have but as a warlock player that is addicted to rhyme coat if you use this and take advantage of the domain rounds from league league watcher it will now go back to freezing in two shots which is pretty nice and given that this is by far the biggest mag of a chill clip weapon with high explosive ordinance rounds with backup mag it'll go up to 12 magazine size then with tactical mag plus backup it'll go up to 14. i'll explain later in the video why these are the two options i'm focusing on but with the 12 mag you can shoot off seven chill clip rounds so the first seven bullets will slow targets or freeze them and i do not have a chill clip plus tactical mag but i would believe that would go to eight rounds of the chill clip so you should be able to freeze things twice maybe three times if there's other sources of slow on the target for magazine and this perk is going to be obviously by far the best for camping gameplay one shot will slow a overload stunning them and three shots will freeze then upon shattering will stun the unstoppables and overall just the best perk in the right for this weapon for harder in-game content i don't think this is just unanimously the best rocket starter in the game i think it'd be hard to beat the incandescent one or even the vote shot one for just journal play but for the hardest content game where it's gonna take multiple shots to kill enemies That's where you'll see this one with Chill Clip surpass the others and become the best option.
With the way that Chill Clip is able to be effect, you can freeze groups of adds, shatter them, and still maintain really good accuracy even in harder content. Where something like Incandescent, if you're taking three or four shots to kill Red Bars even in like a GM, that is where this thing would be better. So definitely the best utility Rocket Stardust in the game just because of Chill Clip alone. And even though that's going to be the perk that we're all going to be looking for on this weapon, there's plenty of great damage perks in the right. You really can't go wrong with a single perk in the right.
The only ones that are kind of questionable are going to be Bait and Switch. You're not going to really use this thing for DPS, so probably not great, but honestly not terrible. Then the other one would be Adagio. Adagio is a 30% buff, but there's no point to have to put up with the slower rate of fire when there's just better options.
Which would first be Desperate Measures, also 30%. Very easy to proc with Ability Final Blows. frenzy for the reload speed and the 50% buff probably not recommended on this weapon then we have one for all 35% once you hit three targets and with this being a splash radius weapon very easy to proc the final one will be surrounded the highest buff at 40 and 47 percent well enhanced so if you're playing up close and personal surrounded would be the way to go but like i said all those damage perks are honestly not bad you really can't go wrong with any of them so now moving on to the left column there's gonna be a lot of reload based perks the best one overall will be air trigger because of the fact that it also gives you increased ammo reserves on top of the different reload speed benefits one thing is you have to be airborne to receive the reload buffs so it's gonna be definitely a play style you have to get used to but on average i'm gonna go to link a spreadsheet from max on twitter he ran numbers on all of the different combinations of perks mods magazines for ammo reserves which i don't have the ability to do that i only got like five of these things so i'm gonna go to link that air trigger roughly give seven or eight more ammo to this sidearm along with 30 reload speed a 0.8x reload duration multiplier which is very nice. I think the second best option in the left would probably be impulse amplifier for the increased projectile speed also 20 reload speed and more importantly the 0.85x reload duration multiplier. The reason the multiplier is very important is because you can get up to 100 reload speed through multiple veins in the game but the only way to surpass that is with these multipliers and impulse amplifier.
plus air trigger are the two ways to do it on this weapon and i would say like tied to a very close second third place would be loose change we apply a elemental debuff for example slow or freeze you'll get 50 reload speed and 20 aim assist for 4.5 seconds so the largest chunk of reload speed but no multiplier on this perk and you will have this perk at all times with the chill clip roll so definitely a great combo and really between any of those three if you're just trying to get in and out and just get a chill clip I'd be satisfied with any of those three perks. I do think air trigger is the best just for the For ammo but r2 or definitely good and we'll get the job done in order to that if you got I would just keep It until you get better one would be enlightened action not great, but a really speed increase And the final one would be reverberation to increase the radius of the detonations. Not a big deal, but not terrible. But overall between the two per columns, if you're just looking for a good sidearm there's really not that many bad rolls on the scene which Which is a good thing.
So you should be able to find something decent pretty easily. And the final thing as we mentioned. For the mag and total reserves of this weapon.
Like I mentioned. Go ahead and check out the spreadsheet from Max. But the main takeaways is. the two mag options you want is to be high explosive ordnance or tactical mag both of those plus backup mag plus air trigger result in the two highest ammo reserves of the weapon and with the way chill clip is based off your mag size i would actually prefer tactical mag it's gonna be slightly less total ammo but the plus to the magazine results in roughly one more chill clip shot per mag which i think would be better than having like two more shots overall But if you got either of those two mag options, they are the best.
And given the fact that the three go-to left column perks are all about reload speed, you don't necessarily need something like third mag well or like a pinning mag. You should be good on the reload speed of this weapon. And finally, while we're at it, I guess with the launch barrel options, you really just want something that increases blast radius or velocity. Don't want stuff that takes away from those two categories. I'm not chasing 505s and Iron Banner by no means.
So whatever option you have, whichever one's... best just choose it it's definitely not worth farming more for those different options and same for the mass work of velocity blast radius reload handling really all these are fine just hope that you don't get stability or range i guess and overall i just love using this thing with icebreaker with the run coat on warlock just another way to freeze and shatter ignite them with icebreaker even though you're running double special icebreaker has truly infinite ammo with a stasis build. So really you're only using one with the sidearm and you don't have to worry about ammo at all. So it's pretty nice combo and works really well.
Anyways I think that's gonna be it for the breakdown. This weapon's everything that you think it is. Kill clip on a sidearm with a huge mag and reserve count is probably just now the best utility weapon in the game.
It definitely would have been if it applied the normal amount of slow stacks per shot but I'm not surprised at all that it's only 40 like the rapid fire mutations. Makes a lot of sense. But even with that, it's definitely probably the best utility weapon in the game. Anyways, let me know what you think about this diagram down below and what role you want.
Like usual, thanks for watching. Catch us next time.
