Inmost Liar Build for Destiny Hunters
hello everybody Maven here Merry Christmas I hope you had a great holiday let me know if you are currently bored as heck watching this video on your phone at the couch at your family's house because I know some of you are anyways if you are a regular subscriber here you might remember that video I posted the other day about the in most light syo steps Prismatic warlock build the point of that build was that it was supposed to be the meta Prismatic Titan PVE build but adapted over to a warlock so you know what Prismatic Titans do it's hard of and most light with synthos steps on the Exotic class item and you spam con cration all day long well did you know that's possible in all three characters because the perks for inos light and synthos steps are available on the class items for every character so we were over on warlock doing the same thing Titan does except with the electro slide ability instead of Consecration and the build was pretty awesome and that brings us to today's build because some of you guys were curious about how that imos syntho build would play out on Hunter and I'm sorry to tell you that inos synos on Hunter is not the way to go but inmos liar is an holy sweet mother of archus this build is absolutely cracked now I know I'm late to the party I know this build is nothing new I know some people covered it when the Exotic class items first came out and this build had its 15 minutes of fame before it completely fell off the face of the earth now I'm going to be honest ever since Prismatic came out I've kind of completely ignored Hunter I focused entirely on Prismatic Titan and to a degree Prismatic warlock but for me Prismatic Hunter and PVE has been kind of left in the shadows but a couple days ago I went over to our old pal Zer and decided to snag a few exotic class items for the Hunter for a change something I never done before and my mind was completely blown when I tried out this inmost liar build it was like a revelation and if you're a hunter man watching this video and you've never tried inmost liar build then your mind is going to be blown when you try it out as well so let's break down this build hope you enjoy this video is sponsored by Advanced GG the only clinically proven gaming supplement shown to improve your gaming performance use code Maven and checkout for 10 % off your order link down below thank you now just to be clear before getting into it inmos synthos is still very strong if you go on YouTube and search rathl onef Prismatic Hunter you'll see a multitude of videos of people killing rthl in just a few punches but this is incredibly Niche and only meant for these types of Boss challenges but just for a general build in most Liars is 1,000% the way to go Spirit of the liar reads that dealing damage with an arc melee or getting hit by a melee will allow you to follow up with an extreme ex powerful punch so we're going to do some damage testing against Carl here our base melee attack is hitting for 8,000 damage and our base liar punch is hitting for 26,000 and now we're going to add on three stacks of combination blow which supposedly adds plus 60% melee damage per stack or at least that's what they want you to believe because that brings our damage up to a whopping 263,000 damage which appears to be around a 1,000% increase but it doesn't stop there this is only the beginning next we're going to attack on the onew punch shotgun perk which grants your melee a 100% increase and that brings our damage up to 369,000 damage sending Carl into the next Dimension and next we're going to add on facet of Courage which increases the damage we deal with light abilities by 10% against targets afflicted by darkness debuffs which in this case will be either slow or freeze from Winter shroud or Unravel from facet of Bravery that gives our shotgun unraveling rounds after getting a grenade kill and by the way yes grapple punch does count as a grenade kill and courage is going to bring our damage up to 406,000 damage total Overkill but we're still not done we have the conductive Cosmic Crystal artifact mod this is the arc abilities deal bonus damage to targets affected by stasis debuffs and that brings our damage up to 426,000 damage we are literally saitama at this point and Bungie felt that that punch was so good that they rewarded me with an exotic Ingram and if we started at 26k that means our total damage buff for this build is around 1537 half% and just so you get a perspective of how strong this is here's a clip of me shooting Carl with an aggressive frame rocket launcher and compared to what we just saw this is literally tickling Carl so the fact that we completely overkilled him with a single punch and sent him into the next Dimension we literally sent him to Destiny 3 we sent him to Marathon it's absolutely broken and the fact that we can spam these punches back to back is insane this build has the damage box checked a million times over it's massive and thick like your mom but what if we added the tractor Cannon to the mix to apply a 30% debuff you would expect that it would be the equivalent of dropping an atomic bomb on Carl but instead this happened yeah it made our punches barely do a thing so my thought is that there was some weird mechanic I was missing that only made our first punch do massive damage against a Target and subsequent punches will do less so I wanted to try it again but making sure that the one punch I hit him with was the liar punch but the same thing happened it didn't work and I was a little bit confused so I decided to try it again but without tractor and I was going to proc Liars on him by hitting him with the combination blow first and sure enough it didn't kill him like I expected it to and then it clicked debuffs will override a lot of the Buffs you're trying to stack so tractor Cannon is actually bad and the reason we still did nerfed damage without the tractor Cannon is because stylish executioner makes it so your first punch after emerging from invis will cause weaken so when we did that initial punch to proc Liars on him and then we applied the weekend so our follow-up liar punch didn't do a lot so sure enough I tested it out one more time without any debuffs and boom we sent Carl over to the HALO Series so yeah debuffs of this build are bad don't make the mistake of using tractor Cannon like I might have done in some of the background gameplay and don't use the Anarchy with concussive reload you can still use it without concussive reload though unfortunately we can't avoid the fact that stylish executioner will hurt our sustain damage but we literally need that aspect because we're able to go invis non-stop which is essential for survival it makes us invis whenever we defeat a Target afflicted by any Elemental debuff and since we're dodging onstop with the infinite gamblers Dodge combination blow Loop we can cause slow and freeze with the winter shroud aspect so every kill will make us invis that's like the reason this build is even good in the first place to begin with because survival is the key to having a good PVE build as a matter of fact in the background gameplay you might have been seeing or will see solo m law sector gameplay with this build and you can see how it holds up in what would otherwise be considered very difficult content but the survivability and damage output with this build makes it a breeze I originally did Legend solo law sectors but it was too easy so I opt it to master anyways if you're doing very difficult endgame content with Champions and if you intend on potentially one-shotting them then you're going to want to pick the right moment where your liar punch is proed and I can tell you from experience of this build takes a lot of practice you need to really know it inside out to be able to use effectively in difficult content you got to focus on trash moms and keeping up your combination blow Stacks before dealing with Champions and you're going to want to use your combination blow on a nearby trash mob to proc Liars so you can immediately turn on the champion and one punch that thing with Liars without applying a debuff so that's how you use it optimally and I'll show you a clip in the background gameplay two clips actually of me doing the intro section of the solo grandmas inverted Spire so you can see how this build holds up in that kind of content and I'm going to tell you right now and this is going to be a challenge from me to you do this solo GM inverted Spire intro section with literally any other build in the game and try to complete this section faster than I did here in this clip and this isn't me gloating about my skill because I don't have skill I suck this is just to express how stupidly powerful this build is the damage output is through the roof and into the sky above it this section ends when you defeat all three overload Champions and there's not many builds in the game that can run head on into the battlefield literally surrounded by three grandm overload Champions and three Elite Harpy snipers all trying to kill you at the same time and come out alive in that situation the only build that competes with this is obviously Prismatic Titan because it's broken but aside from that nothing is matching this I dare say this is nearly as broken as Prismatic Titan so if you're someone who doesn't play Titan and you're always jealous of how hard they carry then now you got to build to try to keep up with them the only annoyance is when people steal the kills of things you're trying to punch because that can sometimes punish you and disrupt the flow of your G gam play Loop so I would say this is definitely stronger as a solo build but you can still use it in groups so anyways let's continue breaking down the rest of the build so aside from dodging and punching things with combination below Forever This build does have one more main focus and that's grapple spam the inmost light ability is basically always online from Our Endless punch Loop so our grapple will always have plus 800% regenerate because it will always have times to empowerment as we spam abilities but specifically when it comes to easier content another way we can can spam a ridiculous amount of grapples is with our shotgun which is the sword breaker this shotgun is capable of rolling with demolitionist and one two punch which synergizes with both main themes of our build the punches and the grapple spam so it's already perfect 22% Grenade energy back on Final blows when enhanced and doubled melee damage but it doesn't stop there it's even more perfect because it has the cursed thr origin trait which gives it those ridiculous necrocosm explosions for 7 seconds after a melee final blow so that ability is basically always online so our shotgun kills just cause these massive chaining explosions that make it really easy to clear out groups of trash mobs and get a boatload of Grenade energy back so between inmost light and this we basically have infinite grapples now besides the mass of damage the thing that really makes this build so good is the survivability survivability is everything in PVE trust me screw everything else if you're a new player and you're making a build damage should not be your main concern I can't stress enough survivability is everything so aside from stylish executioner making us invis after every kill and combination blow healing us on Final blows we got facet of protection for a 15% damage resist while surrounded then we got facet of purpose now some of you might have been curious why I have silk strike as my super first of all not only did Roy supers receive a massive buff this season but when we have facet of Purpose with silk strike picking up an orb of power will give us woven mail for another 40 5% resist now one might question how often we can make orbs and that Segways us into our mod setup because with triple heavy handed on our gloves we can make an orb every time we get a powered melee kill which is obviously happening constantly it even works with grapple punches even though it uses your grenade charge it still counts as a powered melee so basically everything we do makes an orb even our shotgun kills because we have Reaper on our class item so our next weapon kill after dodging will make an orb and obviously we're dodging every second and we have strand siphon on the helmet so our shotgun double kills make an orb and that's very easy to do with our constant cursed thra origin trait so we're absolutely making it rain with orbs and these orbs will proc recuperation on our boots to give us some health back in addition to proing that woven mail and with our non-stop dodging we're procing powerful attraction on the class item to automatically scoop up all the orbs around us to ensure that we get health back so to summon all up after every kill we're full healing going in this and have a constant 50 something per resist and that's how this build is so good at survival so continuing on with the rest of the mods these orbs are also proing inovation on the boots further contributing to our grapple spam and between handson and Dynamo on our helmet both proing every 2 seconds we can get our super back very fast then we got melee resist on the chest which is important for obvious reasons and then one element will resist of your choice that's interchangeable depending on the threat modifier and the rest of our mods are focused on having infinite shotgun ammo which is why we have strand reserves scavenger and special finisher at the rate we're making orbs we'll basically always have three armor charart ready for special finisher whenever we want so you don't got to stress about that strand reserves and scab are not the most effective things in the world I think reserves gives you like one or two more ammo and scavenger lets you scavenge like one more ammo from special finishers so it's not absolutely necessary that you run these and you can replace them with anything you want but I guess the reserves and scavenger also benefit our heavy weapon because we're running the Cataract but you can also run the corx if you want and for our energy slot we got the graviton land and you absolutely want a void weapon here because remember that facet of Bravery not only gives us unraveling rounds but it also gives us volatile rounds and I heard through the gra Vine that infinite volatile rounds on graviton Lance is pretty good but to be completely honest with you the energy and heavy slots on this build are extremely flexible and you can use whatever the heck you want it doesn't really matter because we're using the swordbreaker 99% of the time something I even considered is running the parasite with solar holster on our boots which I'm definitely going to be trying out after this video and by the way the last fragment I haven't mentioned yet is facet of dawn to become radiant on powered melee hits so yeah infinite radiant on this build as well and for our stat distribution the only thing that matters is 100 resilience and discipline the rest literally does not matter you can invest it however you want but just letting you know that mobility and strength don't matter since gamblers Dodge and combination blow chain into each other indefinitely recovery doesn't matter a whole lot so I just dumped the rest of my wiggle room into intellect even though doesn't really matter and that about does it for the build now for the gameplay loop I don't even know where to begin so I guess I just won't like I said before practice practice practice this build is very complicated but once you master it it's extremely powerful you got to have patience you got to know which targets to prioritize and you got to keep track of your combination blows and cross counters you got to know when and where to proc that liar to really use it to the fullest and you don't necessarily have to weaken fat targets and nullifier Buffs you can emerge by punching a nearby ad and then going to town on the F targets there's just a buttload of things that you got to think about when you play with this build it's not easy but man is it strong when you do it right and if you are a hunter M you got to give this build a try I sincerely believe this is the single best solo build for Hunter players in the entire game it's between this graviton forfeit or gear Falcons hoberg it really depends on the situation so as always a dim Loadout link will be down below in the description and also the pin comment if you'd like to give it a try and if you got anybody's or Hunter Ms please consider sharing this video with them because I believe that every Hunter player needs this build in their Arsenal truly do it's 100% earned its place in my permanent Loadout hot bar I am a Titan main at the moment but if Prismatic Titan ever gets hit with a big Nerf then this build will definitely convert me back to a hunter M no doubt now on a side note do you really need to pair in most with Liars not exactly you do have options such as caliban for ignitions as well as assassin to go invis and powered melee final blows and I know that sounds kind of irrelevant since we already have stylish executioner but running a assd means you don't have to run stylish executioner and instead you can run the shadow clones so every time you do your Dodge punch Dodge punch thing not only are you slowing but you're also setting up clones plus you don't have to deal with accidentally debuffing enemies and nerfing your damage Buffs and in my head I can see that being very powerful but I haven't tried it out yet so I don't know but anyways that's going to do it for this one let me know what you think about the build in the comments and if you do give it a try let me know how it went I'm sure you'll thank me later consider it my Christmas gift to you Hunter play speaking of which I intended on uploading this video on Christmas day but unfortunately I couldn't finish it on time so therefore happy 26th of December hope you got lots of awesome gifts hope your elders gave you a bunch of money and I hope you can go blow that money on a ton of fireworks for New Year's
