You know what I'm talking about. And let me tell you, it's absolutely worth it with what I'm about to show you in today's video. So you probably already know this by now, but if you didn't, Hyperblade is what makes a Praxic Blade super powerful. Defensive form allows you to generate ammo whilst blocking attacks and blocking an attack immediately after guarding increases damage for a short duration.

And with Hyperblade, reflecting a shot causes you to become amplified and grants this sword increased lunge distance for a single swing. But what if I told you there was a way to have increased damage and increased lunge distance on your lightsaber for about six seconds, seven seconds on on multiple swings. The secret to this is the Sage Protector armor.

You can get this armor in the Equilibrium Dungeon and it has a simply insane four piece bonus that makes swords and lightsabers act in an absolutely insane way. Now, we'll first look at the two piece buff sword hits return grenade and class energy. Bonus energy is granted if blade focus is active.

And of course, blade focus is the four piece perk. briefly guard with a sword to ready blade focus. While blade focus is ready, hitting a target with your sword increases sword damage and lunge distance for a moderate duration.

I was kind of confused when I first read this set perk. I didn't really understand what it meant, but I'll show you right here. You block...

blade focus ready you get the kill whilst the perk is active and look at this you can literally just fly around destroying people now in pvp there is something that bungie put in the game to make it very very difficult to fly around one-shotting people with the lightsaber now with hyperblade active you can actually go around one-shotting people and lunging at them from really far away but it comes with a condition you can't jump You simply have to stay grounded. With Hyperblade active, you can one-shot Guardians. So the lightsaber, you'll block and you get Hyperblade, right?

Now I have Hyperblade active. You can see I'll wait for him to get to full health. I will jump, swipe. I'll show you one more time. I will jump and it will not one-shot.

Bungie have put that mechanic in the game to make it very difficult to jump, lunge, and one-shot with the lightsaber. But with Blade Focus active, you can jump through the air, lunge about a million feet towards people, and one-shot them. look at that and that's without hyperblade this basically confirms it bruh and not only that it lasts for around six to seven seconds which is absolutely insane my friends and the cool thing is this is really really powerful however there's a genuine trick to this and a genuine skill to like getting the timing down you have a very brief window to activate blade focus it's literally like one second and it will go away obviously we're using strongholds that is the other key to this build Strongholds allows you to infinitely guard with swords and when you do damage by reflecting or getting a sword kill or a lightsaber kill, you get your health back. But it's basically perfect for the Sage Protector armor because as you can see, blade focus comes up every couple of seconds and then you have a very short window to get the kill. I didn't make the window there.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. There's some tricky timing to this. Let's get it.

Right there. Now I've got blade focus and now I can literally zoom around like an absolute maniac. And my friends, it's absolutely glorious.

So to summarize, to unlock the true potential of the Praxic Blade and to be an absolute menace with it, you need the following. The Stronghold Titan Exotic. You need the Praxic Blade with Hyper Blade and Defensive Form. And finally, you need four pieces of Sage Protector Armor that you can get from the Equilibrium Dungeon.

Once you have all of these things together, well, my friends, you're going to be an absolute menace in the Crucible, in PvE, anywhere.
