Prismatic Warlock Build Guide for Destiny 2
hey thanks for clicking on the video we're back with another build and we're kind of following suit with my last build video if you didn't watch that we covered how the most meta Hunter build just got better with episode Revenant today though we're turning the spotlight to my warlocks And discussing how their most meta build also got better so yes today we're looking at the incredibly strong Prismatic buddy build a lot of build content will focus fun versus efficacy and this build is a very fun one but more importantly it's straight up to good if I'm getting on Destiny 2 nine times out of 10 this is the load out I have equipped GMS L sectors expert activities even raid encounters are easily clearable with this build but before we jump into breaking this down if you enjoy this build or if you've seen any of my stuff and wanted to see more a subscription is a great way to help me out while also making sure you don't miss an upload and if you're looking for more of me I'm currently streaming on Twitch every single day with G Miners and llama as we play through all of Destiny 1 so if you're interested in that there is a link in the description to my twitch Channel but back to the build starting at the true cruxit of all we have our exotic armor Beast most Prismatic builds I see for hunters and Titans are always using the Exotic class item and that's for good reason but on warlock here the best Prismatic build requires just a regular old exotic with that being the ever potent getaway artist this has the perk dynamic duo that reads convert your Arc grenade into a Arc soul and become Amplified The Arc Soul functions as an atom autonomous turret and while I doubt this exotic needs much demonstration we're going to do it anyway consuming your Arc grenade gives you an arc soul for 20 seconds while also making you Amplified for 15 and this amplification is actually pretty useful in the build despite many people kind of riding this buff off as for the performance of our buddy it shoots a five round burst with each hitting for 2,915 damage so one burst is 14,570 damage total or a little bit more than a chir of one hit scan shot another thing to note is that it doesn't scale depending on enemy tier so you're always dealing Max damage but then a hidden effect granted by this exotic is that each hit will grant you 5% Grenade energy as you can see happening right here although this is only the case while devour is not active but what an ark buddy ultimately means is that you're getting extra DPS in all content and situations and it's a lot more damage than what it seems within onlevel content The Arc buddy will kill enemies in less than a first but as we enter the endgame and health bars increase gway artist is still just as potent dealing massive damage but then you add on your own weapons and the DPS as you run and Gun is genuinely impressive all right so we know Ark buddy is broken and you likely already knew that but now we actually want to turn running getaway artist into a real build that can leverage the rest of our sandbox including the artifact which is why this build just recently got even better but before that first looking at our Prismatic subass the abilities are where we'll begin for our super I'm constantly running song of flame because it never feels like a bad choice regardless of the activity you get tons of Dr and massive damage output other than that you can run whatever you want but a roaming super like storm TR or Winter's wrath is also a great option with the recent super regen changes I mean looking at this clip we're getting fairly substantial amounts of super and I'm not even firing my weapon Arc buddy and unravel is just putting in the work but then next Super we have our class ability which is preference with my go-to always being Phoenix dive it's an instant heal on the shortest cool down for the melee I wholly recommend arcan needle for easy access to unravel high damage as well as having three melee charges having as many abilities at your disposal is pretty important and not to mention ability spam is just plain fun then for our grenade which is the only ability that must be something specific here we have storm grenade the grenade itself isn't bad but it has to be Arc in order for getaway artists to even be usable and this is our only Arc option then after abilities come aspects the big one that truly carries almost every Prismatic warlock is feed the void proc devour from any ability kill including Arc buddy and then with that buff active each kill grants us full health and between 15 to 40% Grenade energy depending on the tier of enemy you can see why Bungie decided to remove getaways artists intrinsic grenade region while devour is active but even with just getaway artist and feed the void we have a self-perpetuating loop of Ark Soul proc devour and devour gives us back Grenade energy for infinite arol up time it actually gets to the point that you can throw multiple grenades while having arol out and you'll still have a grenade ready when you're timer eventually depletes but then back in our subass we have our second aspect and genuinely you can run either Helen or bleater and you'll see much success in a standard scenario both have their pros and cons helan is better for fast-paced running and gunning Bleaker is way better at locking down specific areas especially great in activities like Onslaught so as we continue I want us to keep in mind that these two aspects are totally interchangeable and should be swapped depending on you a quick rundown of each though Helen gives us a higher damage solar buddy whenever we use our class ability and this really adds to the passive DPS that arel gives us can also eventually ignite enemies for big damage normally this is what I run and I have run it since I discovered this build back during the final shaped raid race but this episode bleakwater makes use of things outside the subass and it's functionally inter tied with arol as consuming our grenade spawns the arol and a stasis turret too which as we're all likely familiar bleater the Stace turret will slow and then freeze any enemies in can Jud at this slow and freeze can also stun overloads and unstoppables respectively giving you some very good anti- Cham capabilities from your subass alone Helen also can actually stun unstops through conditions too but looking at both aspect options they're truly just passive benefits that almost act as a button that says make this game easier but now moving on from that into our fragments we have the first one which is dependent on your second aspect whether that's Helen or Bleak Watcher if you're running helan use fast hope for increased class ability region when you have a light buff which devour and Amplified both count for that and if you're on a stasis turret run fast of Ruin for more damaging shatters the rest don't care about your second aspect with the next one being facet of purpose for some super dependent Survivor ability restoration on orb pickup just goes insane facet of protection for some free damage resist fet of Courage for 10% extra light ability damage against dark debuff targets which does include Arc Soul versus slowed or frozen enemies and then facet of dominance which makes our storm grenade jolt when thrown normally this UPS its lethality tremendously and also works as a very ond demand type of overload stun but then coming out of our subclass we have weapons armor and the artifact cover weapons are a unique case compared to most builds but follow suit with the best builds in the game being that they don't actually matter normally I'll run a rocket sidearm with tenacious Mastery being the likely best bet is that sidearm is just insane it'll massively boost your dark Transcendence meter while ARX Soul fills the Light Side primary heavy can be anything with mine usually being vxr and chill inhibitor but then onto our armor the stats you want are recovery resilience and then discipline armor mods are pretty basic that's really only because none of our buddies actually count for grenade or melee damage they're just generic ability damage for our helmet we run a siphon and finders for gloves we use a Firepower so our grenade can spawn orbs when we throw that normally and while our buddies again don't count as grenade kills devour ensures we will still be tossing a fair amount of normal nades we can also use something like momentum transfer for just a bit more passive melee region chest piece is just going to be resist depending on your activity for legs we got a better already for some redundancy on health regen although devour can carry us here on top of facet of purpose and then an invigoration for even more melee region and then the class item is the special finisher and Powerful attraction combo with a bomber or proximity board depending on what you want you also while looking at these mods you might notice there's pretty much nothing built into grenade region but that's because devour Far and Away carries Us in that department which at this point it's better to build into our other abilities for just a little bit more versatility and then the final piece before our gameplay Loop is the artifact this episode's artifact has a lot of focus on stasis and then act two brought in a focus on Arc which is just perfect for this build where Arc gets some benefit is with Arc compounding which increases Arc damage against blinded targets by using retinal burn for blind on AR per hits we can have our Arc Soul deal 3,352 per shot or 16,7 160 per burst and then we can even add another artifact perk being conductive cros Crystal for a bit more Arc damage against slowed targets that also Stacks with facet of Courage allowing our Arc soul to deal 19,0 355 damage per burst so we can actually get quite a bit more lethal and then for bleater there is a ton of stasis Synergy with the main ones for this build being access to slow for conductive Cosmic Crystal and then hail the storm for more damaging shatters when boosted if you don't boost that definitely boost retinal burn for easier blind but then to round us off we have the gameplay Loop you're going to want to start engagement by consuming your grenade which will spawn an AR soul and a bleak Watcher but if you're using Helen then you're going to want to pop your Phoenix after consuming your grenade at this point with both buddies out you should be able to get your first ability kill thanks to them if not use an Arcane needle to start devour then with devour active slay out with Arc soul on your shoulder giving you passive DPS Helen will add to that passive DPS and then Bleak Watcher will lock down waves of ads and make them ES especially easy to clean up while this is happening you'll have multiple grenades charge which you can either throw or consume again to spawn another Bleak Watcher SL refresh AR soulle you'll essentially just play like normal but dropping your autonomous fire team whenever you can at any point a beefy Target shows up or Champion spawns use your kit to stun them and then unload with whatever weapons you got or pop a super you'll also be building Transcendence which is honestly just a bonus that I normally say for big targets just be sure to consume your grenade before for popping this as you cannot consume a grenade while Transcendent you also G tons of super so again pop that whenever this build just has so much damage output happening all at once that it genuinely excels in all content I promise you that outside of raid boss DPS you won't find a more meta build for every activity in the game and that's actually everything I wanted to say I have used this build almost exclusively from now since the beginning of the final shapes launch and I don't think I'm going to find anything better anytime soon and again this isn't really a new build but it is updated for the newest episode and the newest act if you've used this build or something adjacent let me know what you think about it maybe you've used it recently or you forgot about it cuz this is just absolutely cracked also thank you for getting this far into the video again I'm streaming with llama and G over on my twitch so I'd love to see you pop in say hi here on YouTube if you want to support me and support the channel a like a comment a subscription goes a very long way if you want to support me and support the channel but you can't think of a comment comment down below buddy
